This year will be my 8th in education and I teach Advanced English II at Arlington Collegiate High School in Arlington ISD. Previously, I’ve taught courses such at AP Literature and Composition, IB HL Language and Literature, Humanites, STAAR Remediation for 10th-12th graders, and English IV. I am also working towards my Ph. D. in Curriculum and Instruction: Language, Diversity, and Literacy Studies from Texas Tech University and I have my B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of Texas at Arlington.
