2024 Literacy Connects Us to the World

Participants in this session will engage in making the connection between the Science of Teaching Reading with TEA’s Research-Based Instructional Strategies by examining reading strategies for secondary students.   Educators and leaders in attendance will be engaged in science, research, and the power of knowledge to showcase an integrated approach to literacy instruction for middle and secondary students.  By the end of the session, participants will leave with a variety of tools and resources to take back to their 6-12 ELA classrooms that align to the Science of Teaching Reading.
